JB Sentral(0830am) to Kluang(1042am)
One way – RM14
The train plan is a mirror image.
My seat is 2D (as per picture below) on the booking is on the left side. (I chose the left side as I did not want the morning side while heading north.) But in the train, 2D is seated on the right side. Not sure if this is so for all trains.
I noted that seats 3, 6, 8, 9, 12, or 14 (eg, seat 3D/3A, window seats) has nicer window view.
The train stopped for about 10-15mins just before Kluang station. Was wondering why then. But found out the reason on the journey back. Read below for the answer.
The train arrived at Kluang at about 1045am. Not too bad.

Kluang(1015am) to JB Sentral(1230pm)
One way – RM14
The train arrived at Kluang at about 1020am. Not too late.
Likewise, the actual seating plan is a mirror image of the plan on the booking.
Along the way to JB Sentral, saw the northbound train. That explains why my northbound train stopped 10-15mins before reaching Kluang station.
Kluang station only has 1 active track. So both southbound and northbound trains share the same track. The trains would then have to give way to each other at Kluang.
Train arrived at JB sentral at 1220pm. Earlier than scheduled.
Last note: The air-conditioning in the train can get a bit cold. Do bring a jacket if needed.
