I thought I would post my expenditure, for people who might want a reference.
I did not include my meals. Generally a meal in a restaurant would be 100-200 Rupees per pax. Roadside stalls and snacks from bus station vendors, are usually all 10 Rupees each. You can see the individual prices of the meals in the various posts.
As a gauge, the local rates for Autorickshaw rides are about 10 Rupees per km. But, as a foreigner, I usually negotiate using 1.5-2 x 10 Rupees per km.
For bus rides, I estimate that the price is about 80-100 Rupees per 50km distance travelled. Generally, the bus attendant would not overcharge you.
