Catching the 620am train from Varanasi Junction Tran Station to Gaya Junction Train Station.
I arrived at the station at 5am.

Bought the AC Chair Car seat. Paid 823.04 Rupees in total.

Easily defeated this gym, at a train stop, which had only 3 Pokémon defending it for 3 days already. In Singapore, you would be lucky to even get a Pokémon into a gym. And even luckily, if your Pokémon can defend for at least an hour.
Saw a gym in Sarnath that had Pokémon defending it for 46 days already.

The veg meal has rice instead of my bread and omelette.
The train arrive at Gaya Junction Train Station at 915am, earlier than the expected arrival of 925am.

I had intended to try getting an Uber from Gaya Junction Train Station to Bodhgaya. So, I ignored the first driver who approached me while walking out of the train station.
When a second driver approached me, i thought, “Why not ask for the price?”. The driver was asking for 400 Rupees. I was only willing to pay 300 Rupees. Uber app showed the price to be 196 Rupees.
He then requested for 350 Rupees but I insisted on my 300 Rupees. He quite promptly agreed, though trying his luck for 350 Rupees again here and there.
When the road is clear, I feel like I am on a roller coaster ride.
When the road is busy, it is chaotic and noisy.
I paid him 320 Rupees in the end. I do appreciate direct negotiation without much fuss.
Somehow, the straightforward and prompt agreement in the price is quite refreshing.

Rama Guest House, Bodhgaya.
706 Rupees under Booking.com.
Additional nights would be 650 Rupees/night, paid directly to the staff.
My stay for at least 2 nights for 706 Rupees/night under Booking.com. Might extend for 2-3 more nights since I want to just immerse myself in Bodhgaya.
The best hotel stay so far in India. Booked it based on location, price and the amazing reviews of the place. No complaints on my first impression of the place.
Cleanest room that I have stayed.
With hot water. All the earlier hotels didn’t have hot water, which I am fine since I am used to showering with cold water back in Singapore.
The wifi is amazing. The wifi in previous hotels was not as strong, intermittent or just non-existent from the room.
And my room has windows that look out. With a nice balcony just beside my room. The previous rooms, either had no windows, or windows that are boarded up.
The TV and the TV box works well. Watching Shin-crayon in Hindi now.
Currently, no complaints!! (At the time of checking in.)
Now, after 1 night in Rama Guest House, my single complaint is the mosquitoes, but I would deal with it.
I am also considering whether I should move to another guest house at the door step of the Maha Bodhi Temple which I would visit often. Let’s see how it goes.
